Welcome to 2024! The learning framework is rebranded to celebrate a new year, with a modern look, new topics, and the same great content. The annual theme is Everyday Leadership.

It’s really important to take care of your mental health at work. The World Health Organization informs us that safe and healthy working environments are fundamental rights and are more likely to minimize tension and conflicts at work and improve staff retention, work performance, and productivity. Below are a few helpful tips.

Tip 1: Focus on what you're good at and use your strengths to accomplish things throughout the day. Doing this will boost your confidence and make the tasks more enjoyable and fulfilling.

Tip 2: Refrain from comparing yourself to others. Be your best self each day. It's important to focus on your own journey and progress, rather than measuring yourself against others.

Tip 3: Practice applying gratitude at work. Doing this will help you be grateful for your accomplishments. You can also extend gratitude toward others by acknowledging/complimenting their efforts.

Tip 4: Find ways to show acts of kindness. Extend kindness to those around you through simple actions such as offering a smile or lending a helping hand. Small gestures can have a big impact on someone's day.

The tips mentioned above will help you develop habits that support good mental health and move you toward a fulfilling career with the State of Missouri!
