Welcome to 2024! The learning framework is rebranded to celebrate a new year, with a modern look, new topics, and the same great content. The annual theme is Everyday Leadership.

To kickoff the new year, let's dive into Coaching & Mentoring. You might ask, why is this topic back again from March 2023 - so glad you asked! The statewide mentoring program, MOments, launches mid-month, so we wanted to celebrate the program with mentoring content. The difference between last year's content and this month is an increased focus on mentoring content.

On the surface, mentorship may not be perceived as an important work concept. However, participating in mentorship programming can have a very positive impact on your career. Participating in a mentorship program can add value to your work experience resulting in the development of new skills and abilities. More specifically, U.S. News suggests that being a mentor can benefit your leadership development, your ability to gain new perspectives, increase your workplace happiness, and gain a sense of purpose. On the other hand, the benefits of being a mentee are getting proper guidance from experienced professionals, expanding your network, gaining new perspectives, and increasing your overall ability. Becoming more productive and or efficient with your day-to-day tasks is a winning strategy for your on-the-job success. Participating in a mentorship program will provide you with the tools to develop those things that put you in the driver's seat of your career success.

While participation is optional, our goal is to provide just the right amount of education so supervisors can meet their LDR goals, and all team members can meet their individual educational goals.
